What types of positions does HCM recruit for?
Primarily, the jobs we fill are at the executive, upper management and administrative compensation levels such as CEO, President, Vice President, Director, Deputy Director, CFO and CIO. HCM is not a “temporary assignment” placement agency. Rather, the focus of HCM is to identify exceptional professionals qualified to fill Client’s full-time or part-time positions through direct hire.

Simply call us or send us an email to schedule a Client Consultation. We discuss your needs, the ideal candidate, the job description and your timeline for hire. We use traditional and nontraditional recruiting sources. HCM’s executive placement process is designed to identify, attract and retain the Client's ideal job candidate efficiently while maintaining cost-effectiveness. From the initial consultation, our process ensures your new hire is successfully placed into the position. There are six steps in the process:

How do you screen the candidates?
Every job candidate goes through a face-to-face meeting with an experienced HCM recruitment professional, who is skilled in conducting effective interviews.
We verify the candidate’s skills, education, background and interest in the prospective career opportunity to ensure only the most highly qualified candidates match your company's needs profile. We test job candidates to identify strengths, weaknesses and the correlations between them, the job and your organization. HCM conducts multiple assessments to reveal the candidate’s executive intelligence, characteristics, interests, skills and values. Customized testing is available.
A thorough background check of all final candidates is conducted. We check criminal records, driving records, social security number and academic credentials when requested by the Client. Most information is returned in less than 72 hours.

How quickly does HCM work to fill a client company requests to fill a vacancy?
We offer Priority or Contingency searches.
Priority: If you need to fill a position quickly, this is the solution. Vacant positions are costing you the longer you wait. You don't have to incur lost revenue and productivity. An HCManager is immediately assigned to the Client and begins the search until your position is filled with an exceptional candidate.
Contingency: When you need to fill a position but time is not of the essence, this is your answer. To recruit managers and administrators, this is your recommended approach.

Does HCM verify the qualifications of job candidates before sending them to Clients?
Yes. We screen an individual's skills, education, employment history, background and interest in the prospective career opportunity to ensure only the most highly qualified candidates match your company's needs. Clients are given a profile of each candidate before meeting any job candidate and provided technical assistance in selecting candidates for the interview. A summary of the candidate assessment is reviewed with you, and results of the candidate’s behavioral tendencies, executive intelligence, and cognitive ability are discussed.

How does HCM bill for its services?
The assessment fee payable to HCM to recruit, screen, interview and select candidates who are qualified for direct hire is specified in the Client Staffing Agreement; typically discussed and reviewed during the Client Consultation. Billing terms are agreed upon before services are rendered. The fee is calculated based on a percentage of the gross annualized compensation to be paid to the candidate during the first twelve (12) months of hire. HCM will invoice the Client for services provided under this Agreement. Payment is due upon receipt of invoice.

Do we have to pay even if we don’t like any of the candidates you present?
No. The terms and conditions under which HCM is paid for its services to recruit, screen, interview and select candidates who are qualified for direct hire is specified in the Client Staffing Agreement; typically discussed and reviewed during the Client Consultation, and are agreed upon before services are rendered.

What happens when a Client is interested in a job candidate?
We assist Clients in identifying the ideal candidate, pointing out the strengths and weaknesses of each candidate as well as their compatibility with your company. We also offer assistance to our Clients by putting together an attractive offer to your lead candidate. We will prepare BOTH the Client and the candidate prior to the interview, followed by a debriefing of both parties after the interview.
